OUR STORY
Introducing Fournou Fusion: A Unique Retreat for the Mind, Body, Art and Soul.Peter and Louise, who moved to France from the UK in 2005, have been happily hosting guests from different parts of the world in their two Quercy stone houses.Louise met Teresa, a glass fusion artist, at yoga class where they formed a close friendship. It was not long before the two women realised that there was an opportunity to combine Teresa’s passion and expertise for art with the peaceful and spacious environment of Fournou. After months of planning, their dream has finally come to fruition. Fournou Fusion now offers fully catered five-day residential retreats for individuals seeking a serene and calming escape from the pressures of daily life.
The retreats include glass art and soul painting workshops taught by Teresa, daily yoga classes instructed by our qualified professional, Joke (pronounced Yoka), and optional Reiki/reflexology massages.
Guests will also be offered a walk to a neighbouring vineyard for a wine-tasting experience and a visit to a lively local market.
Fournou Fusion is the perfect blend of art and relaxation in the tranquil French countryside.

YOGA
As a professional contemporary dance teacher and choreographer with a background in Laban Centre for Dance and Movement in London, Joke has a deep appreciation for the diversity of movement and how it can be incorporated into dance.Through her training, she discovered that all movement is dance, and dance is about the rhythm of our breath, space, force, and shape. This realisation sparked her interest in yoga, which led her to pursue yoga education in South Africa and the Netherlands.Throughout her 40 years of teaching, she also gained a greater understanding of anatomy and the importance of stillness as part of movement. Specialising in vinyasa yoga and yin yoga, she experienced firsthand the benefits of yoga and conscious movement in maintaining fitness, relaxation, and flexibility, even at the age of 73.
